How does the incentive work?

Foxwood has estimated your average first-year costs for: Property taxes, electricity, water, natural gas, and Hot water heater rental. These estimated amounts will be credited directly to your utility accounts within 30 days of moving in. Please note, in the City of London, London electricity collects payments for both electricity & water; the credit applied will encompass this. Account information must be provided for direction of credits within the 15 days following their closing date to qualify.

Are there any transaction fees or hidden costs?

No. There are no hidden fees or surprise costs associated with this program. Just clear support to help you get started with confidence. Excludes security deposits, or deposits potentially required by the providers with exception to those detailed.

What happens if I use a lot of electricity or my home is assessed with higher property taxes?

In order to create an inclusive incentive, the value of the credits are a one-time credit based on estimated consumptions, area comps. Should a home exceed the estimated values/credit within the first year, the homeowner will be responsible for paying the difference of the balance owing. Homeowner is responsible for all payments, a single credit is applied to the account provided, once this credit is used up, the homeowner will assume costs beyond.

Is there a limited time to enroll in the STARTSMART Program?

Yes, this incentive is available from July 15,2025 to September 15,2025. The First Year Incentive applies to any single-family home purchase made within this time frame. Please note, Foxwood reserves the right to modify, extend, or cancel the Incentive at its discretion.

Does this incentive apply to all Foxwood Homes?

This incentive applies to all new single family agreements of purchase & sale within the program time lines defined.

*Limited time incentive applies to one year of property taxes, electricity, water, natural gas bills. Values are prorated as an average cost incurred and credited to the customers account based on the average for the year. Excludes security deposits. Excludes incurred billing beyond the averages allocated, customer is still responsible for paying their bills once credit is used up. Refer to Agreement of Purchase and Sale for further details and credit values. Incentive applies to Single Family. Must be a new Purchase & Sale Agreement.
